Had a fantastic youth group get together for the last day before lent!

O holy Saint Peter pray to God for us! Tomorrow we bid farewell to the Icon of Saint Peter the Aleut. The Icon’s caretaker, Robin Wellman generously agreed to let our parish house the Icon for a few months. St. Peter’s Icon has been with us since mid-November. We will serve a molebin service to the Icon tomorrow directly after the Divine Liturgy. During the meal in the church hall, Robin will share the story of Saint Peter’s life and a bit about the Icon itself. Please join us! @ Holy Ascension Church, Sacramento

Cangratulations to our beloved Fr. Paul and Matushka Susanna on the 32nd Anniversary of Father’s ordination to the priesthood! May God grant you many years!

With the blessing of Fr. Paul, our St. Sergius Youth Group will provide a Chai for fellowship this Sunday after Divine Liturgy. All proceeds will go towards scholarships for the St. Herman’s West Youth Conference. This is a very worthy cause, as our young people come back invigorated and encouraged from their shared experiences at the annual conferences. Please come and support their wonderful efforts!

His Grace Bishop Irenei is leading Divine Services for the Feast at the diocesan cathedral in San Francisco.

Please pray for all those effected by the horrific fires in California. Through the prayers of the Theotokos, O Lord Jesus Christ our God, have mercy on us—Amen.
